Diwali Dancing - be Victorious!
I am very fortunate to be able to work in a diverse work environment. This past week one of the employee resource groups at my company celebrated Diwali. This provided me with a unique opportunity to do something I typically wouldn’t be able to do at work.. Dance!!
I think this video shows and re-enforces what I have said in previous blog posts, one of the key principles of being effective in work and life is INVOLVEMENT. Get involved with activities and organizations outside of your normal work day. This not only makes your work day fun but helps your career as it forces you to network and get to know some amazing people you may otherwise have never had a chance to meet.
